Mission Statement

The Foundation supplements the District’s educational programs by partnering with the community to provide students and staff with opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable.

All funds raised go to support students and staff.

Accomplishments

Purchased lightening detectors for all district buildings.

Awarded four grants for the 2008-2009 school year

• $1,000 - Wooodland Park Middle School SPARKS Book Club (Jeannie Walter)
• $1,000 - Summit Elementary Summer Books in a Bag (Val Brown)
• $1,000 - Summit Elementary Corrective Math Program (Val Brown)
• $1,000 - Summit Elementary Summit Studio (Brenda Baker)

Completed Fundraising Events

Swiss Chalet fund raising dinner, March 2008. A HUGE success –
thanks to Neil and Paula Levy.

Strawberry shortcake sale at Woodland Park’s 2008 Old Time 4th of July celebration.
